Josi Aguilera

Josibeth Aguilera is one of the Chairs of the Student Coalition Committee, a branch of People for PSEO composed entirely of high school and university students. Josibeth grew up in Beltrami county. She is a senior at Bemidji High School, and currently enrolled as a full-time PSEO student at Bemidji State University. She was drawn to educational activism after seeing widespread discrepancies in treatment towards PSEO students. She believes that student involvement, especially allowing students to be creative and participate in critical discourse, is key to improving state policy. After graduating, she plans on pursuing a major in international relations, and, ultimately, a career in international law.
